The mini excavator is out, but until when?
In a rental yard a lot is agreed in passing: the landscaper collects the mini excavator on Monday, extends by phone on Wednesday until Friday, and on Thursday a customer who was promised the same machine is standing in the yard.
Until the machine is back, nobody knows exactly which building site it is on. And afterwards the delivery, the cleaning or the extra rental day is missing on the invoice.

Every machine on its own in the calendar
Every machine is a rental object of its own with location, description and status. The 'Availability' view shows per machine and day who has it and when it is free. An extension is a new end date: if it overlaps with the next booking, Rentolino reports the conflict.
Tariffs for half a day, a day, a week and a month
You set any price tiers you like per machine. For a rental of nine days Rentolino combines the weekly and the daily tariff to the cheapest price. You can adjust the amount.
Delivery, cleaning and fuel on the invoice
The invoice is created from the rental with one click. You add further lines such as delivery, cleaning or fuel from your templates, with amount and VAT rate. The PDF contains the QR payment part.
Private customers book online, businesses get a quote
For the weekend business you share your booking link: the customer sees the machine, the price and conditions such as minimum age or notes on transport. For longer rentals you create a quote as a PDF and turn it into the invoice.
The machine's position on the map
With a hard-wired GPS tracker you see on the map where the machine last reported its position. That helps when it stands on a building site for three weeks or has to be collected.

Questions machinery rental businesses ask
Can I keep several identical machines as one item with a quantity?
No. Every machine is a rental object of its own with its own calendar. That suits machines you rent out one by one, such as mini excavators, plate compactors or lifting platforms. Rentolino is not meant for small items in large quantities.
Does Rentolino bill by operating hours?
No. Billing is by rental duration: by hours, days, weeks or months. There is no counter for operating hours. You put such costs on the invoice as a separate line.
What happens when a machine has to go to the workshop?
You set the status to 'Maintenance' or block the machine for a period. During that time it cannot be booked online, and Rentolino warns you if open bookings fall into the blocked period. Rentolino does not keep a maintenance schedule with intervals.
Can I rent out machines that belong to a partner?
Yes. You mark the machine as a cooperation object, choose the owner and set your commission as a percentage. Rentolino shows your share and the amount for the owner per rental, you mark payouts as paid and print the statement as a PDF.
Does Rentolino alert me when a machine leaves the yard?
No. The map shows the last reported position and the speed. There are no alerts or geofences.
